The point that Jones made that stuck with me the most was "The standard of excellence is defined by the sloppiest piece of work that you will accept." I think that is so true. Most students seem to put out as little effort as possible and jump through hoops just to get things done. We need to hold the students accountable by not accepting whatever they turn in unless it is quality work.
